Ozempic on sale. The U.S. healthcare savings platform struck a deal with Novo Nordisk to sell Ozempic and Wegovy for $499 a month, the lowest cash price yet for these blockbuster GLP-1 drugs. Lies have price tags. The conservative TV network agreed to pay $67 million to settle a defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems, which accused the channel of spreading false claims about the 2020 election. Two fresh analyst upgrades came in for Duolingo: Citi set a $400 price target and KeyBanc went even higher at $460 (the stock was trading around $327 on Friday). Two big moves in the U.S.: the Danish drugmaker cut the out-of-pocket price of Ozempic and Wegovy to $499 a month for uninsured patients (well below their usual $1,000-plus sticker tags) and secured FDA approval for Wegovy to treat certain liver diseases. [Read more]

LOSERS

⬇︎3.66% Intel

Intel may get a new shareholder: the U.S. government. Bloomberg says the U.S. government is weighing turning part of Intel’s $10.9 billion Chips Act funding into stock, giving Uncle Sam about a 10% stake in the chipmaking company. Investors liked the rumor last week, but worries over dilution and political strings are now weighing on the stock. [Read more]
